Share your enthusiasm! We would love to showcase your photos and tips in our new Eastmon Learning Centre.
What we are looking for?
- We are looking for articles that range from the beginner to advanced.
- You would need to include original photos that demonstrate what you’re article is about.
- Your article needs to be about 300 to 500 words.
- We will give you a byline and link back to your website, blog, flickr account etc, wherever you have a presence on the internet in return for your article.
- All articles and photos submitted are required to be original content and you must be agreeable for us to use them on the Eastmon site indefinitely.
What subject can I write about?
- Anything to do with photography that will help others
- Subjects for the novice to advanced
- Basic how to use your camera to advanced techniques
- Keeping track of images to advanced Photoshop techniques
- Creative things to do with your images
How much should I write it?
- Approximately 300 -500 words
- If your article is longer consider breaking it up into several articles
What photographs should I supply?
- Between 2 to 3 photographs for most articles, more if it helps explain your point
- Approx 1 image each 100-150 words
- If you can’t supply any photographs we may be able to find some
How should I supply my article?
- Images should be in jpeg file, we will resize them if necessary
- If you resize images, resize to approx 640x480pixels
- Text should be supplied in Word, TXT, PDF or RTF format
- You can supply the document in a suggested layout form
- We may have to edit your article for length, grammar and layout
How do I submit an article?
- Use the 'comment' form below and tell us your subject and and a brief description of what you will be writing about.
- After you submit that we will be in contact with you.
